Renee’s Workshops:

College Out of the Box: the Alternative Methods to Earning Your College Degree Figuring out where to go (and how to pay for) college can be a stressful time. Join me as I show you options that maybe you haven’t thought of before. We’ll discuss alternative ways to earn credits (it’s not just CLEPS & dual credits anymore!), traditional versus nontraditional routes to a degree, compare costs and time required, uncover little known ways to earn scholarships, and much more. If you have a student Junior high- high school age, you need to attend to find out how they can begin earning college credits doing the work they are already doing! My son started at age 12 and got his accredited associates degree by age 15 and his bachelor’s by 17 (and for just a FEW thousand dollars!). College Out of the Box is the new way to get your college degree in less time, for less money, and with NO student debt!

Don’t Know What to Major In Or what Your Passion Is? Here are some great tips to help you figure that out! Did you know that only about 36% of students graduate within the 4-year period of “traditional college”? Or that about 80% of students change their major at LEAST once in college, with many changing their major, on average, 3 times over their college career? Don’t fall into that trap! Come find out how to avoid the mistakes students make in choosing a major, how to investigate if that major/career path will be right for you, and how to discover your God-given abilities and passions and make those work for you.

Dual Enrollment: Pros & Cons If you like the idea of getting a head start on your college education, a dual or concurrent enrollment program may be right for you- but it’s important to weigh your options. Here are a few of the pros and cons you should consider before making your decision! Plus, I’ll give you some other ways you could be earning college credits along with (or instead of) dual credit to accelerate your college credit earning potential.
