Support Groups and Co-Ops:

Christian Family HEAD: Home Education Association of Dallas

Christian Family H.E.A.D. is a nonprofit corporation organized to promote and support home schooling. Membership Requirements: Completion of the Application and Family Information Sheet, an annual membership fee, and compliance with the association’s by-laws.

DasCHE Dallas Christian Home Educators

During its final association business meeting in May, our Board announced the transition from SWDHSA into a new organizational structure now called DasCHE (pronounced Dash). All services, benefits and opportunities in this association remain the same as before in serving home schoolers in Cedar Hill, Duncanville, DeSoto, and surrounding areas.

HEAR of Rockwall

a multi-denominational, Christian based home school support group. Our mission is to offer information, assistance, group activities, and emotional as well as social support to homeschool families in the Rockwall County area.

Homeschoolers Hearts and Hugs

Our goals are to provide homeschooling students with character building and learning opportunities while enriching the lives of others and increasing public awareness of the advantages of home education. In addition to our volunteer projects, we coordinate educational field trips and social activities. We also offer reading and other incentive programs.

Horizon Homeschoolers

Mesquite Christian Home School Association

Our Vision is to create a network of families who share their Christian and home school experiences together in order to uplift God, support each other, and develop meaningful friendships that will last far longer than the time our children are in school. We strongly encourage families to get to know each other on a personal level so that they will be able to help each other in not only the academics of homeschooling but the other issues which come up in life that all home-schoolers face.

ROHSofTX · Red Oak Home Schoolers of Texas

is a secular group that exists to support homeschoolers of all stripes. Many of our members are involved in other groups and co-ops in the Ellis County/ South Dallas area and serve as a wonderful resource for local information.

SELAH of North Texas

SELAH (Supporting & Encouraging Local Area Homeschoolers) exists to support, encourage and connect families on their homeschooling journey. We offer several opportunities for families to build lasting friendships while enhancing their homeschooling experience. We are located in north Texas, east of Dallas. The majority of our members live in the Sachse, Wylie, Rowlett, Garland, Plano and Murphy communities, but the group is open to any interested families.

SHARE group (LDS Home Education Association of North Texas)

The L. D. S.-S. H. A. R. E. group was established in August 1993 to promote understanding of and provide information about homeschooling by offering educational activities, classes, and discussion sessions.

CHANT Christian Homeschool Athletes of North Texas

Christian Homeschool Athletes of North Texas, otherwise known as CHANT, is an organization that offers students an opportunity to participate in sports. We believe being on a team gives student-athletes, as well as those coaching, an opportunity to develop Godly characteristics. Our goal is to build up Godly men and women who strive for excellence in their God-given talents. We offer a six-man Football program and a Cheer program for high school and middle school students. We cater to families in the North Texas area. Home games and practices take place in Allen, Texas.

Dallas Homeschool Basketball, Inc.

was founded in 2003 to provide Dallas area home schooled students with the opportunity to develop their basketball skills in a competitive basketball environment. In order to help our students strengthen their Christian walk and develop Christ-centered relationships, we combine the leadership of experienced, paid coaches with that of like-minded parents to model Christian values.

 Home School Athletic Association (HSAA)

HSAA was established to provide homeschooled youth with opportunities to compete in competitive athletic events in a Christian atmosphere. Through this athletic competition, HSAA is committed to providing parents with support in their responsibility of developing high moral character within each student-athlete.

TACA Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes

Spreading the good news of Jesus Christ through athletics in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. TACA’s primary goal is to create an organization where as many young home schooled athletes as possible have the opportunity to develop mentally and physically in their sport of choice, while reaping the life-changing benefits of fellowship with other Christ-centered peers and coaches.
