Home Oriented Private Education (HOPE) for Hidalgo County, Inc. is a Christ centered, biblically sound, homeschool support group located in the Rio Grande Valley (RGV) of Texas. We have homeschool families join us from McAllen, Edinburg, Mission, Pharr, Weslaco, Harlingen, and points in between. Through athletic, educational, and social endeavors, HOPE strengthens families in raising men and women who seek God’s heart.
Homeschool Sports Groups
All Star Basketball is an academy for boys and girls of any skill level. They provide a year-round League, Tournaments, Private Training, Summer Camps, and Open Gym all in one location.
AXIOS is offers training programs for all ages starting as young as six. They also have regualr summer camps and often host special homeschool hours. The gym is run by 4-time Ninja Warrior National Finalist, Abel Gonzalez.

The Museum of South Texas History is located in Edinburg, Texas. It features exhibits on the history of the Rio Grande Valley, as well as the rest of South Texas and Northern Mexico. The museum now owns more than a city block, located on the square in Edinburg.
The International Museum of Art & Science is a museum located in McAllen, Texas. It is dedicated to exhibiting Latin American art, as well as educating visitors about science.
The mission of Sea Turtle Inc, located on South Padre Island, is to rescue, rehabilitate and release injured sea turtles as well as educate the public about these amazing animals and efforts in their conservation.
Quinta Mazatlan is the McAllen Wing of the World Birding Center under the stewardship of the City of McAllen. Its mission is to preserve the 1930s adobe estate and the native plants and animals of the Rio Grande Valley, by providing a sanctuary for environmental education, eco-tourism and inspiration to people of all ages.
