Congratulations to Ellie Ambs, a 15 year homeschool freshman, who represented Texas this weekend at the USAG Gymnastics Level 9 Regional competition in Wichita, KS. Girls from seven states with qualifying scores flipped and twisted through the weekend, vying for the coveted top seven positions.
Ellie vaulted to the top group of girls, placing #5 in the Region, and earning a place on the regional team.
The gymnasts on this regional team will compete at the USAG Level 9 Western Championships in Spokane, Washington May 7-10.
Ellie trains at J&R Gymnastics in New Braunfels, Tx with Coach Karen Medellin.
