We had a great weekend at the Great Homeschool Convention Texas Homeschool Convention in Fort Worth on February 23-25, 2017. Hosting the largest exhibit hall of any Texas Convention, we spent the days talking to hundreds of new homeschoolers as well as seasoned families.
We were blessed to do two workshops, Homeschool 101 – Texas Style. Nita Davidson, on our Board of Directors, helped with the Friday workshop, while Nicki Tuesdell, on our Advisory Board, tag teamed the Saturday workshop. Both had lots of wisdom to add to the basic workshop. We love seeing our leaders stepping up to the plate.
We appreciate Don and Nita Davidson, on our board of directors, coming up and helping Thursday and Friday, while Advisory Board members Nicki Truesdell and Deborah Bowman helped on Saturday.
We were blessed to meet with Resa and the folks at Notgrass. We hoped you were able to attend one of their many workshops around Texas. It was a great pleasure to help bring the convention to you by having national speakers tour Texas and bring you workshops locally.
The Exhibit Hall had many of the old favorites from Bloom Books, Miller Pad and Paper, along with most major homeschool publishers.
The next Texas Homeschool Convention will be in late March 2018. Make plans to join us, visit the great Fort Worth historic areas, or just stay the week at the Great Wolf Lodge and have a vacation and convention at the same time.
