Support Groups and Co-ops
The purpose of our group is to offer local support for the spiritual, social, and educational growth of Catholic home schooling families in the Frisco, TX area. We gather one time a month at St. Francis of Assisi in Frisco to participate in crafts, speakers, songs, celebrations, service, and/or spiritual activities. We also gather at least one other time outside the church for field trips or various other social activities.
Frisco H. I. S. was founded upon a distinctively Christian worldview, even though the members of the group represent many different churches. Membership was open to all home educators, regardless of their background or religious beliefs and the support group serves all members equally. They desired to provide opportunities for fellowship and dialogue among home schooling families and those interested in learning more about home schooling,
HOPE’s mission is to assist parents in equipping young people to be Godly leaders in their communities. We focus on academic excellence and seek to provide courses that enable parents to continue homeschooling through high school. HOPE is comprised of families from many different walks of life, coming together for a common purpose. In addition to academic focus, HOPE provides a place for our members to meet other like-minded families, develop close friendships and do life together.
