If you are in Southeast Texas / the Houston area, you have a regional home-education partner: G-HAH (Greater Houston Area Home Educators), THE’s regional organization for grassroots home education.

On texashomeeducators.org, open the Resource Directory. THE keeps an up-to-date listing of groups, co-ops, clubs, and activities for your children.

Statewide THE plus regional G-HAH is not either/or. Many families use both: THE for Texas-wide resources and membership, G-HAH for Houston-area community life.
Membership makes belonging practical
When you are ready, Become a Member / Join us at the membership page. THE offers three levels:
- Silver ($25/yr): Newsletter, HSLDA discount worth $20, members-only discounts
- Gold ($55/yr): Silver plus legal membership services, free admission to THE events, and CEUs for workshops
- Platinum ($75/yr): Gold plus webinars and conference workshops, printables and lesson plans, and free membership to THE Libraries across Texas

A simple get-connected checklist
- Open the Resource Directory and list 2–3 local options.
- Scan the Events calendar for something in the next 30–60 days.
- If you are SE Texas / Houston, visit g-hah.org and consider the Facebook group.
- Join THE or subscribe free if you have not already.
- Text a friend who might need this map as much as you do.
