Can we be honest for a second? It is easy to bookmark a helpful website, grab one freebie, and disappear back into the whirlwind of lesson plans and laundry. We get it. Homeschool days are full.

And still—Texas Home Educators keeps showing up for families across the state because people choose to belong, not only to browse. Membership is how many families say, “We are in this with you.” This post closes our Month 1 series with a warm look at what belonging looks like, why it matters, and how you can stick around in a way that fits your budget and season.

Who THE is (and who we are for)

THE is a statewide Texas homeschool service organization. We serve you as you start—and continue—your homeschool adventure, with advice from experienced homeschool moms, events near you, and practical paths to Get Started and Get Connected.

If you have followed along, you have already seen the heart of the work:

    How belonging fuels statewide service

When families join and stay connected, THE can keep investing in things you actually use:

    • Guidance for those starting out
    • Resource Directory and Events calendar updates across Texas
    • Homeschool Days, Educator Days, and other family-facing work
    • Regional partnership through G-HAH for SE Texas / Houston
    • Future updates on THE projects Library and Read it Forward

You do not have to do everything. Membership and newsletter connection are two simple ways to say the mission matters to your family.

Support the mission in a way that fits

    1. Become a Member at the level that fits your budget.
    2. Stay on the free newsletter for events, helpful articles, and freebies: subscribe free.
    3. Share Get Started and Get Connected posts with anothto use the Events calendar, including Homeschool Days and Educator Days
    4. Resource Directory, statewide events, and G-HAH for SE Texas / Houston

Homeschool Family Expo details remain on hold until we are cleared to share them. Membership is the “glue” that helps those pieces keep moving for the next family who lands on the site at 10 p.m. with a worried heart.

Three membership levels that respect real budgets

THE knows you have a budget. That is why there are three levels of membership—Silver, Gold, and Platinum—designed to fit different families.
