Can homeschoolers go to college?  How can I best prepare my child?  How do we select a college?  What does a transcript look like?  What financial helps are available?  What’s FAFSA and TAFSA?  What the difference between PSAT, SAT, and ACT?  Should my child take CLEP tests?  What about dual credit, and does it all transfer?  How can I find out about scholarships?  Get the answers to these and other important questions about college at the HEART of Texas North Texas Regional College Night — a special evening specifically designed for college-bound students.  This is also a great opportunity to meet with representatives from dozens of colleges (private, public, and service academies) and begin researching potential schools.

Who should attend and why?  Families with students entering high school, but particularly those who are in 10th, 11th, and 12th grades.  It is best to begin your search early in the high school years, and begin to narow down your slections as you get nearer to graduation.  Additionally, there are several important deadlines that occur between your junior and senior year and you will want to be prepared ahead of time so there are no surprises.

Volunteers Needed!  Volunteers can earn free admission for themselves or someone else.
